This just came into the in box....
the final cut of the skate board deck I designed for Sky High. They are doing a "indie business" deck series from local shops.....
this is for the paper boat.

Time for kites

Yesterday was a great day......
I worked at the shop for my shift. Went to Mr. Reisen's place to do some filing (Mr. Reisen is a 92 year old man who I have befriended, now I am his "helper"). THEN, because it is SPRING and it stays light out I still had time to go on a rooftop kite flying adventure with Evan~
To top it all off some games of bowling followed it all up. Nothing creative about any of it, except it put me in a great mood, which is always good for getting the motivation going.

As June creeps closer I have to remind myself that every little thing I fininsh before then will keep me from a mental break down so days like this will become few and far between replaced with the sound of the sewing machine at full speed.

Tomorrow is the last day for the clothespin peeps show at the boat I will be sad to see them go, luckly I bought two of them for my art collection.

Postcard packs & mini owls for the people of MTV!

I am also just finishing up the album art for our friends band GET RAD. Nathan did the design and layout and I am painting it up all nice and bright! No computers! All cut & paste, old school style!!
If you are curious to what is going on in this picture, welllllllllllllllll it's is a giant brain with palm trees and a skull busting out with beams shooting out of his head topped off with a BMX bike blasting out of the brains all summed up by the album title which says- fuck no to rules, man. I am a lover of Nathans weird images that come out of his head and enjoy painting them very much.

Finally, here is a picture of my 100 submissions to The Sampler which WILL make it this month for May. Last month just was gone all the sudden.... vintage game pieces & buttons into fancy one of a kind pins!
