I have a very regimented schedule for finishing my wholesale holiday orders. For the first time I set an order deadline date. This makes for long lists of items but allows me to know how much time I will need to set aside for projects. Tonight I will be doing the finishing touches on 15 toothfairy pillows for a children's store called
Romp in Brooklyn.
Then
Sodafine's order will be next, then
Plume,
mini mini market, and the list goes on and on....
Other exciting news is that I did a walk-through of the potential space that
Art vs. Craft will be held at next June. It is very differnt than Turner Ballroom, cleaner, well lit and I think I can fit in lots more vendors. But that is still to be determined and I'm not going to disclose the location until it is confirmed. BUT if it happens it can only mean bigger & better things for the Round #4 of the event!
In other crafty news w

e did the long awaited silk screen on felt expierment the other night. The peace sign screen was orginally for flags for vendors at the
Renegade Craft Fair who wanted to be in solidarity for the anti-war movement, but I got too busy to finish 150 of them. Anyhow, silk screening on felt works like a charm, but my peace sign hand design ended up looking like those team foam cutouts for football games. It did look good on paper though, and would be perfect for wheat pasting....
Nathan is going to set up an entire silk screen work space in his studio so we will have a place to make a big ol' mess. I of course choose to use the kitchen table since my studio is over-run with owl parts....
Icky and rainy out, the perfect night to sew and watch a movie!
