I can also tell you that I didn't leave the house for more than 15 minutes over the last weekend since I had to finish up my wholesale orders for Flying Fish. Three brutal 14+ hour days= 74 messenger owls, 65 mini owls, 119 mini mini owl patches, 106 peep ornaments, blah blah blah.... phewy! So look out for my goodies at Mini Mini Market in Brooklyn, Room 30 in Olympia, Fermento in Lisbon, Elsewares.com, cutxpase.com and Edge of Urge in Wilmington, NC! This may be my last holiday season with the wholesale orders, or, at least the last holiday season doing wholesale while working on a dang documentary!
Speaking of the documentary, I just did a big ol' update over in that blog and flickr land. Check it out there is a lot of cool stuff, including a bizallion pictures from Austin and Chicago! This weekend we go to Seattle for Urban Craft Uprising! Then to Los Angeles the next for Felt Club. You should really just check out the other blog if you are interested by in Austin we went to Stitch and did studio visits with Jenny Hart, Whitney Lee, Kathie Sever and the highlight of the trip for me was we went bombing with KNITTA'!
A few other notable mentions in creative land are:
I am the featured designer in Adorn Magazine! Buy it! It's super rad and the ladies who run it are awesome and very supportive of the indie craft community!
I am featured along with all these amazing ladies in the "Starlet's of Craft" 2007 Calendar available HERE
AND my shop the Paper Boat Boutique & Gallery has been nominated for our local papers "best gallery" award.
More soon, I swear. Hope everyone had a good turkey day.
